Job Description:
Our client in Elizabeth, NJ, is currently searching for a Certified Forklift Driver Cycle Counter Inventory Control Associate. This is a possible temp-to-hire position, depending on performance and attendance.
Pay starts at $13 hr.
Must undergo background check, drug screen, and NY Waterfront Commission screening.
Job Details:
This position is responsible for all assigned tasks relating to inventory control.
Responsible for completing daily assigned cycle counts and maintaining inventory records by documenting count results.
This position MAY assist the warehouse operations team with consolidation processes or inter-warehouse transfers.
In addition, the position will also be performing audits to ensure customer compliance.
Performs cycle counts and physical inventory verifications
Runs daily free space & capacity reports
Compiles & verifies information regarding trends in customer profiles
Prepares analysis of inventory adjustments and transfers
Coordinate with Warehouse Managers to track inbound outbound shortages and missing inventory.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements:
Experience with RF (Handheld) technology.
Forklift Certified. PC skills - Microsoft Office
Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and inventory reports.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task on a regular basis.
Strong sense of urgency and time management to meet deadlines.
