SALARY:
The salary range for this position is $73,838.
98 to $115,075.
98 for Schedule A, and $73,838.
98 to $109,322.
18 for Schedule B.
For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range.
For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater.
Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule A.
Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule B.

REMOTE WORK:
The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings.
To participate in this program, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.
Example of Duties Under the direction of the Court Executive 2B (Family Division Manager) and/or Court Executive 1B (Assistant Family Division Manager), the selected candidate will:
Conduct family mediations to determine whether an amicable resolution of the issues can be reached Development of policy and procedures Implementation of projects or programs Represent the vicinage at stakeholder trainings Keep abreast of current trends, laws and rules Maintain essential hearing records and statistics Assist in the development and improvement of all children in court programs Assist in training law clerks Serve as backup Juvenile Referee, Domestic Violence Hearing Officer and Child Support Hearing Officer Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Graduation from an accredited college or university with a graduate degree or certification of advanced training in a behavioral or social science, completion of a recognized mediation training program consisting of 40 hours of instruction and four years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas:
mediation, counseling, family intake, crisis intervention, custody/visitation dispute investigations and/or child support.
This professional experience shall have included supervised clinical experience in mediation.
(Experience with committees, conducting hearings and preparing written decisions would be helpful.
) A copy of completion of your forty (40) instruction hours of a mediation training program must be received prior to the closing date in order to be considered for an interview.
Substitution:
At the discretion of the Assignment Judge relevant experience may be substituted for either the graduate degree or clinical experience, or both.
Note:
In special circumstances and at the request of the Assignment Judge, the Administrative Office of the Courts may temporarily approve for a one year period an applicant who has not yet completed the specialized family mediation training, provided the applicant has at least three years of experience as a Mediator or a combination of mediation experience and service in Family Part, has co-mediated in a CDR program with an experienced family mediator, and certifies to the intention to complete the specialized training within one year following the temporary approval.

Degrees conferred outside of the United States must be evaluated by a recognized evaluation service.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
