Van Beverage Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Responsibility will include delivery to restaurants from a commercial van.
As such, candidate must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
In addition, the job will require warehouse work including familiarity with pallet jack, shipping, pallet construction, loading vans.
Depending on the needs of any given day, you will be either in the warehouse or on-the-road with deliveries.
Delivery experience is a plus but not necessary.
This is a non-CDL position Hours:
Approximately 50 hours per week.
Start time varies from 5:
30 AM / 7:
00 AM start.
You will provide warehouse support as required and be in a position to operate independently from a company vehicle and be responsible for route deliveries.
There is a training period for both warehouse and on-the-road work.

MUST HAVE ALL REQUIREMENTS.
YOU CANNOT DO THIS JOB WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING:
1) Clean NJ Driver's license with a minimum of 5 years driving experience.
We must be made aware of your existing points 2) Must be able to do simple arithmetic, read, write and speak English.
3) Have a car to get to job (no public transportation is available) 4) Must have a cell phone.
5) Be in excellent physical condition.
Must lift soda cases weighing 35 lbs constantly during the day.
This job is physical requires significant strength 6) Be able to use a GPS system (with instruction).
7) Be willing to drive in:
New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut, Eastern Pennsylvania, urban and rural areas.
We do select deliveries in NYC and it is important that a driver is comfortable with driving in NY.
Experience is a plus.
8) Submit to drug testing.
9) Be reliable, punctual and pleasant and work as a team player.
10) Be willing to work very hard.
