00pm as needed EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Minimum high school diploma/GED with business school background/certificate preferred.
Three years' experience in administrative/secretarial support functions.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS Extensive computer software experience including Microsoft office products Ability to interact effectively with all levels of staff and within the community Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive manner using the English language Good planning and organization skills Ability to be resourceful and work independently Ability to perform basic mathematical functions Ability to problem-solve Demonstrates responsible leadership, mentoring and role-modeling Access to a car, valid driver's license, and safe driving record required.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Provides secretarial administrative support to all agency accounting department staff including with mail processing, document logging, tracking, scanning, and distribution, word processing, copying, mailings, supplies and other general office requests administrative duties as assigned.
Acts as a liaison between the Director of Accounting, the Controller, and the accounting staff.
Support Secretarial Department with telephone relief, and ability to process mail as requested.

JOB TASKS 1.
Receives and sorts mail in coordination with the department's scanner to ensure correct and timely distribution of departmental mail to all staff, 2.
Creates and maintains logs of items received and distributed (when required), 3.
Tracks and coordinates the timely completion of projects in communication with department supervisors and staff, Performs data entry and word processing of documents and scanning documents for storage and projects as requestedprojects as requested by accounting department supervisors, Maintains general office equipment including copiers, facsimiles, etc.
Assists in general office activities and procedures Communicates with the Secretarial and MIS departments, as well as third parties, to coordinate the resolution of computer and phone support issues, Assists in the day to day activities of the department, Assists with the management of documentation required for the annual audit, Maintains Agency keys and related records Sorts, records and distributes Agency mail as appropriate Coordinate the receipt of money within policy Participate in office opening and closing procedures 1.
Maintains office supplies 1.
Answers switchboard as needed 8.
Cooperates with any Agency, DDD, or DCP&P investigation or inspection, and 9.
All other duties as assigned.
