How You'll Perform the Role o Position
Summary:
Responsible for the safe operation of various types of bag machines in order to produce high quality bags.
These may include, but are not limited to, shopping, merchandise, and grocery and sack machines.

15AM Essential Functions & Key
Responsibilities:
o Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules and procedures i.
e.
PPE, clothing, EHS, moving equipment, cut resistant gloves, etc.
o Check bags for quality defects off the machine, and do all quality checks and paper work as per Quality Policy.
o Safely and efficiently o Strip rolls down, removing liner and /or bands and removing minimal layers of damaged paper.
o Change roll, make splice by hand, maneuver roll into position, adhere roll to web on machine, and adjust paper rolls.
o Monitor bag machinery, starting, stopping, jogging, and adjusting as needed in a timely manner.
o Threading paper through machine smoothly and thread machine as needed.
o Clean and repair machine as needed using proper tools and equipment.
o Maintain ink levels, clean ink pans and wash rollers.
o Package bags as specified.
o Change orders o Submit accurate production reports daily and timely.
o Meet/achieve safety, quality, production waste and housekeeping goals set forth by management.
o Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management What We Need From You o High School diploma or GED o Machine operator experience preferred but not necessarily required as training is provided o Experience working in a warehouse environment o Reading, writing and basic math skills are needed for this job.
o Must be able to problem-solve to make sure that minor adjustments made to machinery are correct.
o Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management.
o Self-managing with organization and time management skills.
o Must have good eyesight (no colorblindness) in order to spot flaws in color comparison, print set-up, etc.

o Able to properly use basic wrenches and tools.
o Must be able to read and write in English o Eligible to work in the United States.
o Successful completion of pre-employment physical background and drug screen.
o Work overtime as required.
o Ability perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.
