Project Description: Under limited supervision, responsible for planning, managing, leading and executing technical activities related to the implementation and production support of QAD ERP and or commercial off the shelf software systems. Interfaces with business users and functional analysts to identify and document the Company's business requirements and ensures realization through the development of value added enhancements while conforming to the system development life cycle. This is the senior level position in the Systems Analyst Developer class series.
Required Skills:
QAD experience required (3
years)
Progress Development programming language (3
years)
Customizing programs, application functionality, and support of QAD
Specifically, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance (cost savings) modules
Unix - AIX platform
Comfortable dealing with business users, gathering requirements, and hands on implantation of the changes
Minimum
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, from an accredited college or university, and 7 - 10 years' work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with emphasis in computer programming; or, an equivalent combination of education and or experience.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, vision to monitor, communicate via telephone, computer and or face to face contact, and use basic office equipment such as a personal computer, copier and FAX machines regularly in the course of work. Work is performed in an office environment. Noise level may vary depending upon users' department location.
This 6
month position starts ASAP.
