Position: Maintenance & Repair (M&R) Supervisor

Salary/Payrate $45,000-$50,000

Position
Responsibilities:

Supervise M&R Vendors
Perform pre- and post-repair inspections in field, authorize repairs
Perform audits, evaluate quality of repair vendors' work
Make decisions on behalf of Lease clients, pursuing the lowest total-cost options; assessing whether or not repairs are necessary and appropriate; off-hire vs. repair of wear-and-tear items
Periodically count tire inventories, track tire usage, inspect tires for cause of failure.
Support M&R Management program
Periodically assemble statistics for management, including but not exclusive to, inspection counts, assembling expenses of M&R services rendered, or expenses related to a particular vendor or repair category
Identify re-billable repair expenses versus owner-account expenses
Review and process work orders in internal system and Newport system.

Requirements:
Must have a valid driver's license, pass a background check and meet Rail Terminal facility security requirements and TWIC requirements
Must be able to perform walk-around inspection of chassis, as well as using a crawler to check brakes and axles
Must be able to lift and move truck tires
Must have a command of MS-Office package, Outlook, Word, and Excel
Working knowledge of CEDEX tariff's and structure
Must be able to receive and communicate repair instructions verbally and in writing in a professional manner
Candidate must be free of potential conflicts of interestEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
