Managing the efficient operation and inventory of the plant, outside storage facilities and yard;
Responsible for inbound shipping of raw materials, outbound shipping and shuttles, scheduling and organizing orders;
Coordinating transportation carriers and performance through the utilization of TMS;
Handling customer complaints;
Employee development;
Ensuring OSHA guidelines for forklift use and general warehousing regulations are in place and enforced;
Ensuring proper warehouse staffing, employee training and certification.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of experience in a manufacturing processing plant such as pharmaceuticals, CPG, or food;
Leadership experience in warehousing and distribution;
Experience in hazardous shipping, KPIs, on time shipping, safety, Continuous Improvement;
Proven ability to lead change;
Spanish speaking abilities are a plus.
