Summary:
Under general supervision, the position is responsible for the oversight of a single and/or multiple sites/ fleets, under one cost center, with one or more managers.
Strategic management and leadership over all aspects of operational performance, including problem identification, solution recognition and implementation, financial performance and profitability, and overall Safety and DOT compliance of assigned fleets.
Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success.
This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities:
Oversee assigned fleet operations, including driver board coverage, customer service, safety, compliance, driver retention, and employee scorecard management.
Using a strategic approach, successfully promote, manage, and maintain a positive work environment, to improve operational efficiency, employee engagement, and driver retention.
Responsible for complete P&L performance, including cost control decisions, expense management, and maximizing profitability, as well as identifying and maintaining key performance indicators.
Includes design versus actual data analysis for each customer through mid-year business reviews, annual account assessments, and preparing and presenting final presentation, etc.
Provide input in the creation of an annual budget, audit current year performance of actual versus budgeted expenses and provide feedback to the Controller regarding required changes to the budget as a result of operational changes.
Ensure fleet compliance with all Safety and DOT training, including working with applicable internal personnel to address any specific Safety needs that arise for individual fleets or drivers.
Facilitate and determine employee trainings and development including monitoring ongoing performance progress to promote, engage, and retain employees in positions of increasing responsibility by optimizing job performance through evaluations, individual development plans, and employee recognition programs.
Train on and audit all processes and procedures needed to execute the day-to-day operations while seeking to identify and implement system or procedure improvement areas.
Responsible for various operational, financial, and service reporting on an ongoing basis.
Serves as the primary point of contact with their assigned customers/ramp and communicates with internal departments and team to provide exceptional service, provide trouble free account operation, and identify and resolve problems or issues with ramp, driver, customer, account, etc.

Create and execute plan for forecasted freight volumes/customer volume needs, power/equipment needs, and adjust capacity needs as a result to ensure fleet/carrier and equipment coverage is seamless.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualification:
High School Diploma/GED with 3-4 years of Transportation/Logistics experience and/or 3-4 years of supervisory experience; must posses a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record as per JBH standards; ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
Preferred Qualification:
