POSITION
Summary:
The Utility I is responsible for providing coverage throughout processing.
Incumbent is proficient in many of the positions and tasks in the department and performs tasks included but not limited to:
a) ensuring cleanliness of all equipment throughout the building as well as outdoors b) ensuring that production line is adequately supplied with product, inspecting and troubleshooting equipment as needed to ensure efficiency and productivity.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Remove remaining product out of all equipment and place in inedible bins.
Transport filled inedible bins to specified storage areas.
Disassemble all equipment and conveyors and reassemble after sanitation is completed.
Clean and dry all food contact and non-food contact surfaces using a predetermined solution of chemical substance/water and applicable sanitation tools.
Perform CIP for all necessary equipment (as needed).
Clean and sanitize the door foamers and replenish the same.
Load product into machine by lifting off pallet and placing it on assembly line.
Inspect equipment, stop production and troubleshoot when needed following safe work practices.
Monitor shrink on an ongoing basis to improve yield and recovery.
Remove empty flats onto pallets.
Able to mix Brine preservative.
Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP's, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained.
Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Less than high school education.
Ability to function as a team member.
Ability to stand for most of the shift.
Ability to tolerate constant motion.
Must be able to complete multiple tasks in a time-constrained environment.
Must be focused and attentive at all times.
Must be detailed oriented.
Follow and understand and perform oral instructions.
Must be able to work safely with chemicals.
Must be able to operate pallet jack and fork lift.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
